Hello, my name is Keakealani Keawe’ehu Alice Hartman, but for the sake of simplicity, I’m just Alice. I’m currently 19 years old until I turn 20 on September 22nd. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, to an Australian mother and an American-Hawaiian father. So technically, I’m Australian and American, as well as Hawaiian; hence the name, Keakealani Keawe’wehu. I did most of our primary school education (Years 1-7) in England, while I completed my High School education (Years 8-12) in Australia. I’m currently living in Switzerland, studying at Surval Montreux before I go to University in September. In my spare time I like to: read books, listen to music, play guitar or piano, go running or take long walks. I have always been interested in civil rights among races, sexes and different sexualities. However, I’m very excited to contribute to International Women’s Day as I am a very firm supporter of equal rights between men and women.
